There is no present day Galatia. While the name of the old region may still be used occasionally, especially in archeology or in commercial travel focusing on ancients sites (eg, in biblical tourism, something like, "Walk in the Footsteps of St. Paul"), it is not used in modern civil or administrative geography, ie, it is not the official name for any city or province or region in modern-day Turkey.

No, Galatia is not the capital of Turkey. The capital city of Turkey is Ankara, which happens to be located within the historical geographic region of ancient Galatia, an ancient region in the central highlands of Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey). It was named after the Gauls (Celtic tribes) who settled there in the 3rd century BC. When Paul wrote to the Galatians he was not writing to residents of a single city; he was writing a letter to be circulated among various communities within what had become the so-named Roman province which covered an area of approximately 32,800 square miles, roughly the size of modern day Austria.

But when Cephas came to Antioch, we had a disagreement. Cephas ate with the Gentiles until James' people came to Antioch. Even Barnabas didn't want to eat with the Gentiles. Well, the dining freedom should not be rejected.

When we go to the Gentiles, we don't become sinners. Circumcision and dietary laws aren't the whole story: that's the meaning of Jesus Christ. Don't be foolish.

Steefen, you've already told us what you meant and what you should have said. But it was not what you said. You were not truthful when you falsely claimed that what you meant to say was what you said. You would have a much easier time ime here if you were simply truthful and able to admit when you make a mistake.

Now, with respect to what you meant to say, that is true. Pilate's execution of the anonymous Samaritan was more consequential to Pilate than Pilate's execution. But that too is not an argument supporting you're claim that Pilate did not have Jesus of Nazareth crucified. Presumably Pilate would have had many people executed without much consequence to himself. That's not argument that these other people he crucified did not exist.
