First post, So apologies if this has been covered previously.

Why does the untruth that the Council of Nicea and/or Constantine somehow changed, made up, or otherwise revised Biblical canon?

It’s such a prevalent claim, I always try to debunk it, but this seems to be accepted as truth by so many people.

I read several years ago that it started with a claim by Voltaire, but I’m not sure.

Has Dr Ehrman or any other scholar addressed this, and if so, do they see it as often as I do?
