Hello,

Protestants claim ‘sola scriptura’, but the scripture itself is a product of ‘tradition’ of the ‘church’. Even Dr. Ehrman also says that we can construct the new testament by the the writings of church fathers even if we would not had NT itself.

I want to know thoughts of Dr. Ehrman and others on this issue.

Thanks.

I think Protestants had a problem with the later church fathers rather than the earlier ones. Not sure where they draw the line, though.
