The dearth of historical information regarding the twelve except for the “pillars” and Philip and his daughters leads me to believe that some if not most did not “believe” once Jesus died and possibly even after the resurrection appearances. Which apostles are discussed by the early church fathers like Clement of Rome, Hegesippus, Polycarp and Papias and Clement of Alexandria?
