The public space, the sacred public space where citizens can enter without humiliation (regardless of whatever) and engage in discussion.
Socrates never cries but Jeremiah cries and Jesus weeps.
The US has a political system that is fragile. It is now at its nadir (its lowest point), comparable to the low point at the time of Lincoln. Beware, we have no Lincoln coming around the corner.
It is a spiritual and moral decay that needs to be addressed.

Freedom of Conscience including freedom of religion
Freedom of Thought
Freedom of Discussion
Freedom of Assembly
Without these, we get power and ideology, dogma, entrenched orthodoxy, manipulation.
