Education in Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, World Culture, Parasychology Also Teaches This
I trust Socrates that in the afterlife his life would be acceptable to Apollo.
I also trust Homer.
I trust Kundun meaning “presence”, is a title by which the Dalai Lama is addressed.
I trust Michael Newton’s Institute for Life between Lives. I also trust Columbia University and other universities that have courses in Parapsychology.
I trust observations of ghosts.
I trust observations of reincarnation.
I trust Ancient Roman military’s perception of the Manes (the dead).
I trust Mexican culture’s view of the dead.
I trust Eschatology, the part of theology concerned with death, judgment, and the final destiny of the soul and of humankind.

Sermon: Daniel 12: The Promise of Life after Death – April 21st, 2012
For the first time, we get a clear affirmation that life does not end with death and that there is more. This belief is not based on anything we have or possess but grounded in who God is and what God will do.
St. Michael’s Deliverance and the End Times (Daniel 12: 1-4)
1 At that time Michael, the great prince who stands watch over your people, will rise up. There will be a time of distress, the likes of which will not have occurred from the beginning of nations until that time. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered.
2 And many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 Then the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.
4 But you, Daniel, shut up these words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam to and fro, and knowledge will increase.”
Steefen
The people of Daniel will be delivered. [The people of Daniel also include those who take Daniel’s lessons as fact because education in Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, World Civilization, Parapsychology supports life after death.]
When was the first Dalai Lama born?
1391
When was the Day of the Dead first celebrated?
Roughly 3000 years ago, amongst the Aztec, Toltec, and Mayans, death and the dead were seen as a natural part of life that should be honored and celebrated, rather than mourned.
Rev. Walt Marcum
Daniel mentions or alludes to :
The Book of Judgment (Daniel 7:10)
The Book of Truth (Daniel 11:1), and
The Book of Life (Daniel 12: 1).
Steefen
Daniel 7: 9-10, 13-14
9) … Thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took His seat. His clothing was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze.
10) A river of fire was flowing, coming out from His presence. Thousands upon thousands attended Him, and myriads upon myriads stood before Him. The court was convened, and the books were opened.
13) I continued to watch, and I saw One like the Son of Man coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into His presence
14) And He was given dominion, glory, and kingship, that the people of every nation and language should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.
= = =
And the people of every nation, not just the people of Daniel, will be in the dominion of his everlasting kingdom.
= = =
At this point, Daniel 7: 14, the one like the Son of Man is not given Judgment, the cases of each individual in the books that were opened; he is given 1) dominion, 2) glory, and 3) kingship.

From the time that the regular burn offering is taken away and the abomination that desolates is set up, there shall be 1,290 days (3 1/2 years).
Happy are those who perseverse and attain the 1,335 days. … The expanding of 1,290 days into 1,335 days may be a revision by a later editor seeking to explain why the end has not come. In the meantime, evil will not go away. The wicked will continue to be wicked, and the righteous will continue to suffer.
3 1/2 years – the actual time between the desecration of the temple in 167 B.C. and its re-dedication by the Maccabees, 164 B.C.
See 1 Maccabees 1:45, 54 – Antiochus forbid burnt offerings and sacrifices and drink offerings in the sanctuary.
Now on the 15th day of Chislev, in the 145 year, they erected a desolating sacrilege on the altar of burnt offering.
1 Maccabees 4:48-53 They rebuilt the sanctuary and the interior of the temple, and consecrated the courts. Early in the morning on the 25th day of the ninth month, which is the month of Chislev, in the 148th year, they offered sacrifice, as the law directs, on the new altar of burnt offering.
The Daneils of every generation should go their own way, and rest.

People, please… Arguing based on what previous philosophers and theologians and television shows presented. Get into the physics of the universe. You will see that no evidence exists. Four fundamental laws govern the entire universe, namely:
Electromagnetism
Gravity
Strong nuclear force
Weak nuclear force
We know that electrostatic force – not a fundamental force – allow atoms and molecules and compounds to form matrix structures, resulting in objects that seem very solid but actually have more empty space than solid space. Consider the metal and wood which compose hammers, and chairs on which you sit.
We know that ‘dark’ matter interacts to create gravity, along with the matter we can see. Studying why it is ‘dark’ is a issue of measurement technology, not some spiritual realm.
We know that ‘dark’ energy interacts to continue expanding the universe. Similar to ‘dark’ matter, studying why it is ‘dark’ is a issue of measurement technology, not some spiritual realm.
We know that nuclear fusion is what creates elements heavier than hydrogen, helium, lithium, which were the earliest elements in order of amounts. Not some spiritual declaration of “let there be…” We have seen through telescopes and much analysis that stellar explosions result in tremendous fusion, forming heavier elements, including gold, silver, platinum, and the trace elements.
I encourage you to cease debating the viewpoints of others – as though this adds some credibility or actual reality. Rather understand the actual physical universe in which our planet exists, to understand the nature of what you are debating. Really!

Start a thread about it.

Religion is not part of that universe. Religion is magic. A thing of the imagination (in the Blakean sense).
