Of all books in the NT, some are attributed to Paul.
Acts deals with Paul’s life and deeds. And much of Christian theology steals from Paul and his kin.

Donald Crowhurst was a British businessman and amateur sailor who died during the Sunday Times Golden Globe Race, a one-handed and worldwide yacht race.
He was unprepared and underfunded. Besides, his boat was broken, completely unable to fight the bizarre waves of the Southern Ocean.
Paul’s trip to Rome was very different from those of his previous trips. Before he was a free man, this time he was a prisoner of the Romans (Acts 21: 27-26: 32).
Crowhurst never reached the Antarctic Ocean. After being troubled by difficulties and moving further and further back than his competitors, Crowhurst faced a difficult choice: to continue to his death or to return home facing humiliation and financial ruin since he had staked everything, including his home, on the race.
Paul’s journey to Rome began in the early autumn of 60 c.e. and ended the following spring of 61 c.e. after he shipwrecked near Malta.
After Paul arrived in Jerusalem at the end of his third missionary journey, he was involved in a serious conflict with some “Middle-East Jews”. The conflict ultimately led to the arrest of Paul by the Romans.
Crowhurst found a way out: he began reporting false positions, making a journey he was not taking, pretending to circumnavigate the globe when he never actually left the Atlantic.
His yacht would join the race on the return part, being not the first to arrive or to record the fastest time, but to save face. And his economic stakes.
But another sailor, Nigel Tetley, sank before him. Suddenly, Crowhurst, was the only other competitor left in the race, being the Golden Globe winner and his logbooks would have been seriously examined.
Eventually, Paul set sail for Rome, where he should have been tried for his alleged crimes. Acts state that Paul preached in Rome for two years pending trial. In 2002, a long marble sarcophagus, with the inscription “PAULO APOSTOLO MART” was discovered during excavations around the Basilica of San Paolo outside the walls on Via Ostiense. The sarcophagus was not opened but was examined using a probe, which revealed pieces of incense, purple and blue linen, and small bone fragments. The bone was dated to radiocarbon around the 1st or 2nd century.
Crowhurst’s boat, the Teignmouth Electron, was found drifting and abandoned. Onboard were the logbooks that tracked his real journey, along with documents showing how he had made a false speed declaration and indications that he had worked on a fake navigation account. They also contained evidence of his psychological state, and uncertain, scratched, barred philosophical interpretation of the human condition.
The last page contained the words: “I have no need to prolong the game”; and “It’s Finished – It’s Finished. IT’S MERCY”.
