The ancient Israelites worshipped both Yahweh and Asherah. The term Asherah occurs more than 40 times in the Hebrew Bible. Also with the discovery of the Ugaritic texts, it became clear that Canaanite religions had dominated the socio-cultural environment from which ancient Israel emerged.
Recent archaeological findings confirm the cult of Asherah in ancient Israel, both in inscriptions on plaster, on pottery vessels, and on votive offerings material. Really common are the “I bless you by Yahweh Shomron and by his Asherah” or “Yahweh Teman and his Asherah,” and several inscriptions containing practical formulae for invoking both Yahweh and Baal.

I guess this one was hard.
But I will try to explain it.
The process of appropriation of great spaces by Yahweh and His cult is a process of creation of an identity. This identity is not only the appropriation of spaces, the building of rites and celebrations but the expound of other realities. Stronger is the I, more powerful is the reaction to others.
The adv has to deal with what sometimes is called gay culture or “LGBT culture,” a cultural subject of social stigma in many countries. Against these very judgmental societies, the “pride” is the answer to it. A feeling of satisfaction for who you are, aside from any scheme or sexuality.
A new identity is created on these pillars:
- P – Professionalism: To be reliable and responsible.
- R – Respect: Treat others as you would like others to treat you.
- I – Integrity: To be honest.
- D – Diversity: To appreciate and celebrate differences in others.
- E – Excellence: To be motivated, innovative, and confident.
Gay men and lesbians are far more likely than bisexuals to view their sexual orientation as important to their overall identity.
Philipp Batz called Mainländer was a German thinker. He was born in Offenbach in 1841, and like Schopenhauer, despised the academic career practicing commerce, until he killed himself. His pessimism exceeded any other philosopher considering legitimate not only asceticism but also suicide, in which Schopenhauer, instead, saw a contradictory manifestation of the will to live.
It was his expression, later made famous by Nietzsche, “God is dead”.
Aside from his contribution to Schopenhauer and Buddhism, which would clarify the last sentence, this one should be read as confirmation on the other two texts.
