I have recently been made aware of Howard Zinn’s book, “People’s History of the United States,” and it made me think of something I had wondered in the past. That is, the relationship between Dutch Calvinism and its influence on the Dutch and their ideas of expansion, capitalism and world colonialism.
I was wondering if you knew or, if you know of a book about the link between Calvinism and Colonialism? Did the one help drive the other?
Thanks
