How can people better confront the anti-Catholic prejudices today?

The term ‘get the log out of your own eye’ comes to mind.  

And this is leaving aside Dawkins’ defense of ‘mild’ sexual abuse of children.  No, the only way you can abuse a child is to teach him/her about religion.  Not enough eyerolls in the world.  

It is not ‘anti-Catholic prejudice’ to criticize the church leadership, to demand that all be subject to the law.  But that cuts in all directions, and one can point out the innumerable flaws of the self-appointed atheist leadership, without being prejudiced against all atheists.  You begin with your own behavior, and that of people in whatever group you identify with.  

The thing is, Catholicism has something to offer besides criticism.  Atheism–not so much.
