Claim @26:30 “the title page” not really sure what he’s talking about yet
I have actually read the entire Book of Mormon, Triple, Quad too obviously and have two copies of the Book of Mormon. One copy is a facsimile of the original 1830 first printing, and the other is standard printing from 2025 called a Triple (Book of Mormon, ** you do not have permission to see this link **, Pearl of Great Price, Index and Maps). The 1830 printing does not have the following Introduction which I think is the claim and criticism in the video @26:30-28:00 but that statement by Joseph Smith occurred after 1830 so it doesn’t make any sense to me yet.
The 2025 printing has a Introduction page that includes the following: Concerning this record the Prophet Joseph Smith said: “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.”

The 1830 and 2025 Title Page are identical from the first to last sentences and whatever is being said in the video @27:00 is not verbatim of what is in the actual Title Page if that’s where it is supposed to be. I do not have an actual printing from the 70s,80s,90s. Research found that the Introduction page was included beginning in the 1980s. ** you do not have permission to see this link **

Steefen, do you understand the Hebrew, Aramaic, and Christian usages of a/the son of man phraseology?

What do you think of the 1914 prophecy? (Jehovah Witness)
How long a period is that?
Revelation 12:6, 14 indicates that three and a half times equal “1,260 days.” “Seven times” would therefore last twice as long, or 2,520 days. But the Gentile nations did not stop ‘trampling’ on God’s rulership a mere 2,520 days after Jerusalem’s fall. Evidently, then, this prophecy covers a much longer period of time. On the basis of Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6, which speak of “a day for a year,” the “seven times” would cover 2,520 years.
The 2,520 years began in October 607 B.C.E., when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians and the Davidic king was taken off his throne. The period ended in October 1914. At that time, “the appointed times of the nations” ended, and Jesus Christ was installed as God’s heavenly King. a—Psalm 2:1-6; Daniel 7:13, 14.

I think Steefen is comparing Joseph Smith (Jr.) to a son of man, υιος ανθρωπου, in reference to Psalm 146:3.

And now, if there are faults they are the mistakes of men; wherefore, condemn not the things of God, that ye may be found spotless at the judgment-seat of Christ.

My point about 146: 3 is do not put your trust in man/human beings.
NET Bible
Do not trust in princes, or in human beings, who cannot deliver!
New American Standard Bible
Do not trust in noblemen, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation.

Context, Robert.
People trusted Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith’s wife trusted Joseph Smith.

In Hebrew son of man translates as “ben Adam.” CS Lewis used this convention in the Narnia books when Edmund is addressed by Aslan as “son of Adam”–and Lucy “daughter of Eve.” In the Old Testament the phrase is used in Daniel–other places, I am not an expert–but I believe Jesus used it (when he used it) to indicate he was fully human. Psalm 146 seems to foreshadow the Beatitudes in many ways, but Jesus carried ethics to a much higher level with the parable of the Good Samaritan.
