Linguists are important to historical Jesus studies (example: Francesco Carotta, author of Jesus was Caesar).

The way grammar is structured affects communication, philosophy, religion.

Limits on communication infrastructure can affect human potential and human potential to deal with evil.

With this author/content creator, I’m wondering how 1604-1611 has communication limits on the King James Bible.

Anyway, we gather around Jesus, we gathered around Jesus, for salvation from some of the evil existing during the first quarter of the first century.

Jesus was against the evil zealotry of being law-abiding but missing the point. He was against the evil zealotry of violence and rebellion.

But what preventative effect did Jesus have on the Second and Third Jewish Rebellions against Ancient Rome?

Chomsky wrote that A.I.’s lack of morality and rational thought makes it an example of the “banality of evil,” or indifferent to reality and to truth while simply going through the motions spelled out in its programming. This limitation may be an insurmountable obstacle for A.I. to imitate human thinking.

“We know from the science of linguistics and the philosophy of knowledge that they differ profoundly from how humans reason and use language. These differences place significant limitations on what these programs can do,” Chomsky wrote.

No, ChatGPT is not Aristotle, or even Dr Phil. So what? Nature had billions of years and practically unlimited resources to squander in producing us and as far as we know we’re all she wrote. We’ve been seriously working on AI, how long? How many resources have we been devoting to the effort? There’s a bit of whistling past the graveyard here. People are using AI as a mirror and projecting their own insecurities onto it.

It’s probably impossible for us to create general AI equaling our own. What we can do is create the precursors of intelligence and teach it to teach itself. Th risk there is that it will almost certainly bypass us. It’s said that when Einstein first formulated the Relativity equations that there were only maybe five people in the whole world who could understand them. What happens when we ask our AI how the universe began and it replies yes, it understands but can’t explain it because we couldn’t possible grasp it? Explain calculus to an orangutan!
