Hello, I hope everyone is doing well,
So I am aware that many scholars say that Jesus Likely spoke Aramaic, but what evidence do we have for this claim? To better state the question, what evidence from the ancient world do we have that points to Aramaic as the dominant language in 1st-century Palestine? If anyone knows of books or articles that address this topic, I would love to take note of them.
