Hi Professor Ehrman!

In one of your debates, you cited some studies on Oral Tradition made by cultural anthropologists.  One was from two Harvard professors who did a study in Eastern Europe in the 1920s.  Another was from scholars who studied African oral cultures.  I need to know what books or where I can find the results of these studies for a term paper I am writing.  I understand that the results of these studies showed that as stories were told and retold, details kept getting added.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Big Fan, James Brier.

P.S: I have bought over a dozen of your books.
