In brief, sometimes in Paris. An 18-year-old Chechen, fished from the vast minority of Muslims dwelling in France, kills a history and geography teacher, Samuel Paty.
The teenager attacks Samuel Paty in broad daylight, beheading him near his school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, a rabbit hole about few miles from the center of Paris. Samuel Paty was guilty of showing cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad in his class.
The father of one of his pupils started the campaign against him and free speech. The man might have been issuing a “fatwa” against the teacher and posted videos denouncing Paty.
It seems that the father’s anger and statements in the videos were based on inaccurate facts. Since his daughter had not been in the incriminated lessons, and since the history and geography teacher advised Muslim students to leave the room if they thought they might be offended.

Evergreen State College in Washington went crazy when a professor of evolutionary biology named Brett Weinstein objected to a Day of Absence when white students and faculty were asked to voluntarily leave campus.
Weinstein branded it as a form of racial segregation.

“For about thirty years now, I’ve been completely and passionately on the side of speaking and writing inclusively. […]
But now I firmly believe that it is of utmost importance to speak and write inclusively. It is because language masks power. If we privilege males in our language, it is both the result of male dominance in our social world and the means of perpetuating that dominance.” (1)

Education is the breeding ground for the type of fascist mentality which is growing in America and Europe altogether.

“Islam is a religion which is experiencing a crisis today, all over the world,” said Presiden Emmanuel Macron.
But I would say education is in crisis since it has the pretension to be democratic and inclusive from its ground.
Nonetheless, society requires more and more attribution and importance to the fancy desires of students and their parents.
They are shutting down any chance to learn or to improve down the line.
Since, if you do not accept any principle of authority, then what is the point to seek any outer of personal knowledge?
Politically correct, transgender and #MeToo people are attacking anyone for being who they are besides what they think they ought to be.
And they pretend to change History with the aid of liberal historians who wouldn’t care to pull down any ancient monument like Isis for the sake of civic correctness and gay radicalism.
No, dear Bart Erhman, you are not sided with speaking and writing inclusively, but with those who don’t mind raising a knife to force inclusion down our throat.

Janmaru you obviously don’t appreciate how harebrained these posts appear. You sound like my Uncle Ed who always blamed the bad weather on the Space Shuttle going through the atmosphere. Interestingly he was an electronics engineer by profession, in most things rational. But when he got on that subject everyone sighed.

I get the gist of your comment.
And, somehow, I do agree.
But there’s a fallacy in your logic.

If your mythical Uncle Ed understood what he was doing (as you suggested for my persona) he wouldn’t be mad at all.

It goes both ways.
You can still say that the student failed the professor or the professor failed the student.
