Last night I came across a TC blog that I thought I’d point out to others.  Prof Ehrman’s research focus has been TC, but he doesn’t talk about it very much in particular since he covers various other early Christianity topics on his own blog (in case he’s reading this is not a criticism!).

The most recent post is a discussion about Basil of Caesarea noting textual variants he has seen from the 4th century.  I found it interesting that one particular variant that was apparently a minority variant in his day is the one that is found in our bible today as the only reading known to the general public.

If you like this type of thing without a lot of theology to cloud the issues then you’ll probably enjoy The Textual Mechanic.  I just wish he had more topics posted!
