Acts Chapter 23, Verses 2-5
The high priest Ananias ordered his attendants to strike the mouth of Paul.

Acts Chapter 24, Verse 1 
… the high priest Ananias came down with some elders …

I do not have a problem with the verses in John. Annas was ex-officio [an ex-officio officer may be a former officer–board effect dot com].

The title for Annas=Ananias in Luke and Acts is historically inaccurate.
