Although the Dormition of the Virgin by the Apostle John (Pseudo John) has been dated no later than the 4th century there are very interesting facts recounted in it.
The Holy Spirit makes Mary invisible to the guards stationed near the holy sepulcher to enforce a ban on all prayers.
Mary asks the angel Gabriel that the apostles be airlifted to her in Bethlehem, so they are brought from all over the world via a cloud, some are even resuscitated back to life temporarily.
Angels and saints then surround the house, producing bright light;
The Jews want to go against Mary, but they are stopped by a frightful vision in Bethlehem.
Several Jews storm the apostles’ house in Jerusalem, but they are immolated by holy fire.
Jesus then comes with a multitude of angels to take Mary up to heaven.
A strong Jew named Jephonias enters the house and attacks Mary’s bed, but his arms are cut off by an angel with a flaming sword.
When Mary dies her body is laid in a tomb in Gethsemane. For three days, the apostles hear angels within the tomb glorifying Mary. When the singing stops, the apostles believe Mary has been taken into heaven. As a final confirmation, they receive a vision of Mary in Paradise, attended by John the Baptist and the patriarchs.
Histories of aliens abduction have topped during the 1950s and 1960s in the USA and around the world, but some researchers claim abduction narratives can be traced much earlier.
Universally the Barney and Betty Hill‘s case is considered the most famous case ever of abduction. Barney and Betty both saw an odd light coming at them from above. They blacked out and found themselves back on the road, driving. They realized that it was two hours later than when they had seen the light. Barney under hypnosis recollected being captured and hearing loud, rhythmic beeps.
Ronald Leo Sprinkle, a psychologist, was the first – in his studies- to suggest a link between abductions and cattle mutilation. In most cases, mutilation wounds appear to be clean and carried out surgically. Sometimes the body was drained of blood and there was no sign of blood in the immediate area or around its wounds.
David Icke, a British conspiracy theorist, suggested that abduction is the means to maintain the Earth like a zoo prison created by alien beings. The aliens walk erect and appear to be human, living not only on the planets they live also in caverns and tunnels under the earth. They have cross-bred with humans.
Many scientists have sent messages into space without knowing who might be intercepting them, but if an alien had detected them from space and came to earth and was confronted with the two stories would be able to distinguish one narrative from the other?

janmaru, start with Jacques Vallee and stop there if you can. But if you’re past him then you’re beyond the rest of us and at the mercy of the UFO circus. And an Icke by any other name still spells ick.
p.s. And it’s almost certain, more sure than the Tractatus, that Wittgenstein never knew even the first thing about dogs. They tell truth plenty, and it’s actually pretty un-Wittgenstein of him to speak so casually, and then about something so alien and uninteresting to him as a dog. Pun intended.

So these are the rules:
- The post should be divided into different parts. The first part recalls the Dormition and the other the abduction stories.
- The two sub-systems should be independent.
- The truthfulness of each text is not relevant. Sometimes I throw things in the text to distract from the real question, and David Icke is one of them. Why do I do that? Because the internal coherence of the text is not relevant. What is relevant is the comparison between the two-block.
- Given the two sub-systems, we can find a sentence in the form of a statement or a rhetorical question that “solves” the problem.
- The final part is like the solution to a Bongard problem.
P.S.
This time even the solution has a twist. The alien catches the message and arrives on Earth. Now you see the pattern.
It’s exactly like in Luke 10:25–29 when Jesus is asked: “Who is my neighbor?” he doesn’t answer directly, but suggests: “Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbor to him who fell among the robbers?”
Ah friends we will have some interesting conversations. Both of you need me although you don’t realize it yet. Not that I am wise. All who know me recognize that my wisdom ebbs and flows. What they don’t realize is they’ve always mistaken the ebb for the flow.

Thank you. I stand at the door and knock.
janmaru is not really interested in the pseudo-history of the UFO phenomenon. He’s playing a different game.

I thought I had answered. Just come in.
As for janmaru, should I just wait for Fatima?
