The LXX only has “the mountain Horeb”
The KJV has “Horeb the mountain of God”
The Masoreic mentions a mountain Horeb and God
The paleo Hebrew could not be distinguished between whether or not it’s two different entities, the GOD HOREB MOUNTAIN
Same linguistic problem with the angel and YHWH. THE ANGEL YHWH
This must explain why the LXX does not have “theos:God” included?
How am I supposed to know the difference if the ancient Hebrews:Israelites had a mountain God called Horeb, and an angel called YHWH.
That YHWH was originally an angel of God in the ancient stories seems to clear up the bizarre “coincidences?” of Genesis 1-3 where YHWH is not mentioned until chapter 2 and Genesis 1:26.
As part of Jewish culture, they like to ask questions about books. It’s both a blessing and curse.
It’s all the same. Not a big deal really until diving into the Jesus was an angel stuff. Then all hell is unleashed with linguistic warfare.
