Correction: Daniel, DSS, Jn the Baptist, Jesus, Paul – Apocalypticism Promises of Hope Fail

With Jewish Apocalyptism being about Preparing the Way of the Lord, Judgement, Tribulation, and a Glorious Kingdom ruled by the Son of Man, there is much judgement going on before John the Baptist and Jesus.

After paying attention to the Book of Isaiah, 53:7 to the end, we learn that a New Jerusalem, glorious kingdom was described.
Bart, Was Jerusalem under Herod the Great the New Jerusalem?

If not, did the New Jerusalem ever manifest?

In the gospels, there is another glorious kingdom, this time ruled by the Son of Man.

If Isaiah’s New Jerusalem kingdom did not manifest, we should have been cautious in our faith that Jesus’ kingdom ruled by the Son of Man would not manifest.

His disciples said to him: “On what day will the kingdom come?”

“It will not come when it is expected. No one will say: ‘See, it is here!’ or: ‘Look, it is there!’

but the Kingdom of the Father is spread over the earth and men do not see it.”

-Gospel of Thomas 113
