Old testament was burned when Nebuchadnezzar burned the temple and Ezra dictated

I read somewhere that the Old testament was burned when Nebuchadnezzar burned the temple and Ezra dictated by heart to scribes to rewrite i think a century after. Does anyone have any references to this. Most Christians i spoke to denied it was true and claim the OT is 100% accurate.

2 Esdras 14:19-26 (various bibles number the various Ezras differently)
