Sheep have a serious problem with flies going up their nose and laying eggs. The larva flies then eat the sheep’s brain and cause it to go crazy. The mad sheep then runs away into the wilderness and mutates into a demonic goat monster. The flies are symbolic of Beelzebub, the lord of the flies. The mutated sheep/goat monster is a demonic possession. That’s why goats kinda look like sheep but a lot crazier.

To prevent this horrible thing, a shepard puts olive oil on the sheep’s nose so that the flies cannot get stuck inside its nose. The sheep is very happy not having to worry about fly larvas eating its brain.
