Where did Moses (PBUH) went for Hajj?

Exodus 5:1

Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival ויחגו (Hajj ) to me in the wilderness.'”

חָגַג (Hajj) 2287. chagag: to make a pilgrimage, keep a pilgrim feast

The passage says “in the wilderness.” Is there another interpretation?
