Hello, Folks!

I’d like to know your thoughs on the claim that goes like this:

“Acts 13:27-29 don’t make a mention to Joseph of Arimathea due a huge resentment against jews authority found in Acts”

Is that a good answer to solve the issue concerning the lack of mention to Joseph in Acts?

Please.

Well, it is the same author as of the gospel of Luke, in which Joseph is mentioned, so the reason must be something else.

Ok, but It’s supposed to be a Paul’s speech.

Luke probably had two sources for Jesus burial , Mark’s story and a more general summary in which Jesus simply was buried by someone. This latter tradition is also found in 1 Corinthians 15:3-5.
