James the Brother of Jesus: The James of Josephus Was Not the Brother of the Biblical Jesus?

The Biblical Jesus is a composite figure of historical fiction.
The Biblical Jesus was not an authentic biological-spiritual entity.
A fictional character cannot have an authentic biological-spiritual entity as a sibling.

Draft of Subpoint/s

But Josephus says James was the brother of Jesus (Josephus does not say that in the Testimonium Flavianum)

But Paul says James was the brother of Jesus

It could be interesting if somebody could summarize the arguments against the authenticity of the James-the-brother passage in Josephus.

I think Carrier has written about this in his book.  I don’t buy his arguments but of course the Mythicists have to go after James or their entire argument falls apart.  (Which it does.)

Many respected scholars have considered both Jesus/James passages entirely spurious. This doesn’t disprove the historical Jesus. Still I think it is a possibility that someone altered the James passage as well, since most likely the Jesus passage was tampered with.
