The name “son of Pandera” for Jesus of Nazareth is well known. So how did he get this name? Well, one theory I have come across says he was conflated or mixed up with someone who had that name. Does anyone know where I can read a defence of this theory? Is there an academic article or blog post proposing it? Or perhaps one of the forum members buys into the theory and would like to explain it?
Thanks.
