After joining this week, I finally got to read the posts about the trinity not being an original part of the New Testament. I wonder, do we know how they Johaninne(sp??) comma was added to the Vulgate?

Oh wow! I’ve heard her name before but never looked her up. Now you’ve got me going down a rabbit hole!

One more Vulgate question: What do scholars think they meant by “the spirit, the water, and the blood?” Is there any chance that has anything to do with the father, son, and holy ghost spirit as modern Christians have come to understand it?
