1. The fact that Jesus did not exist does not change the fact there are the Synoptic gospels.
Your point fails.

2. It’s a coincidence? Ha.

3. The authors of the Synoptic Gospels had a Platonic concept of God proves, as I have already mentioned, since, as Bart has said over and over, Jesus wasn’t that educated.

Steefen:
Not educated in the writings of Plato or Platonic thought.

Look at the birds of the air … your evenly Father [god] feeds them.

Oh what a good God. Are you not much more valuable than they?

4. What’s implausible is that Jesus wasn’t that educated to have a Platonic concept of God to replace the TANAK amd apocalyptic notion of God in an age of messianism.

Robert, you have had more than enough time to make a plausible case.
Do not expect me to continue this conversation with you.
I’m going to listen to the remainder of the video.
If Gnostic Informant and Litwa makes a plausible case during the remainder of the video. I will post that.

picking up from 13:37
Litwa lists the reasons why the God of The TANAK is not Plato’s good God.

intolerant, arbitrary, unpredictable, emotional, dangerous god

fall short of a universal, good god

Gnostic Informant
Why is Yahweh tied to Set?

Litwa:
There was a god of foreigners, Set.
Egyptians were Egyptian
Hebrews were foreigners.

Yahweh was a form of Set.

Yahweh being Set explained why Yahweh was so violent.

Litwa:
For the Sethians:
Seth was before Abraham.
Jesus was an incarnation of Seth.

Marcion did not see Gos. of John as scripture.

Steefen:
I agree with that.

And as Litwa goes on the speak, I say, if God was Yahweh, I would rebel and be a fallen angel, too, sort of–if I couldn’t be independently good of Yahweh.

Litwa
About Paul, see Galatians 3:19 which says The Law was given through angels.
The Law is not a direct product of God.

Also, see: 2 Cor, 4:4.
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

trying to hide behind your typically evasive and mildly insulting attitude. When you cannot successfully argue against a position, this is what you always do.

Ad nauseam.

I will admit feeling a bit like Prufrock:

“I grow old….I grow old…
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.”

Steefen, if you will, please explain the value of statements like “Let me explain to you as if you were a child, then.” or “..you’re not playing with a full deck anyway.”
