I remember some time ago  in the gospel Jesus’ reply to Peter on the number of times to forgive :not 7 times but 70 times 7 . In fact there was a foreign film in the sixties titled 491 about criminal youths under the supervision of  forgiving supervisors. More recent translations  give 70+7 times as the number of times to forgive.What caused the change in translation?
