i am wondering when mark says “he saved others” is he putting in a theological understanding? the new testament says that the jews performed exorcisms , does that mean they were saving others? if not, then mark cannot mean “saved others” in a physical sense, so mark seems to be christianizing jewish observers at the cross.
when mark says “he saved others” is he saying that even the jews aknowledged jesus as saviour in theological sense?
and since marks messiah was not meant to be saved, then they are deliberately requesting something in a mocking fashion while aknowledging the theological savior of the jews?
they already “believed” he is a saviour of others, then why do they need to see and believe him saving himself when marks messiah is not meant to be saved ?
They were mocking him and I don’t think they were mean to be serious about him performing miracles.
