Is Matthew 1:23 proof of divinity of Christ?

How is the Evangelical claim that Jesus is God because of MATTHEW 1: 23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” (NKJV) invalid? Is the expression Immanuel elsewhere in the Bible in the sense of God?

Im-Manu-El: God with us, may God be with Manu.

Who is Manu? Manu is a line of kings. During the Jewish Revolt, the Manu royal family supported the Jews. God is with us because we got help from the Manu royal line.
