The word “immediately” is used very specifically and regularly in the Gospel of Mark. As example see Mark 1 verses 10, 12, 18, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 42 and 43. Are there any theories why it seemed important to Mark to specify that certain incidents occurred “immediately”?
