Hi,
I am looking for literature on the scholarship of the parables of Jesus. Most of what is out there – and there is a lot – is theological literature written to inspire sermons or prayer. Can anyone recommend good books on the subject? It’s not that they can’t be theological, they just have to be intellectually curious and honest and deal with what we know about the genre, the context and the interpretation of the parables.
