Thanks Jill. I’ve only read the one book because it dealt with Paul’s view of the resurrection body which is substantially different than what most folks are taught. The important thing here is how thoroughly Hellenized Second Temple Judaism was. The idea of a “pure” Judaism, unsullied by the corrupting influence of Greek philosophy, is entirely a fantasy. The development of the church and Christian doctrine, including and especially the Trinity itself, is impossible without Greek thought.
