The Gospel of Mark, Chapter 15, verse 47: Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses watched where he was laid.
Douay-Rheims Bible
And Mary Magdalen, and Mary the mother of Joseph, beheld where he was laid.
Darby Bible Translation
And Mary of Magdala and Mary the [mother] of Joses saw where he was put.
Joses, Brother of Jesus
Joses is only mentioned twice in the New Testament, in parallel passages in Matthew 13:55 and Mark 6:3, which record the people of Nazareth’s rejection of Jesus:
Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him. Mark 6:3 ESV

Aren’t those simply variations on the same name? ** you do not have permission to see this link **

Is it that Jesus is dead at this point in the story that the author does not say Mary the mother of Jesus but Mary the mother of Jesus’ brother, Joses or Joseph?
We probably need Dr. Ehrman to explain why is it that the gospels can spell Joseph, husband of Mary and Joseph of Arimathea but when it comes to Jesus’ brother Douay-Rheims and Darby have different spellings.
