2 Peter 3:5 has a creation narrative harmonious with Genesis 1, creation came “by the word of God”. The word does not conextually seem to refer to Jesus in this Epistle and, like Genesis, appears to imply the word is a command to “be” and it is. On the other hand John 1 states creation was through the word, implying Jesus. Does anyone else see this as an issue? Any thoughts?
