
Thank you, Paul seems to be quite a self centred, self seeking individual who didn’t really like anybody. So your point that Paul makes such claims against Peter seem in keeping with his feeling of animosity and self importance.
It would be really interesting to get a critique on the book below ( possibly the part covering Judaism and Christianity from Prof. Ehrman.

???? Apparently he resented The disciples and never acknowledged that the 12 disciples were in any way ‘special’ because of their close relationship with Jesus. I am an a atheist, since the age of 12, but find the stories of interest. But, and it might be a character flaw, I cannot believe that people are taken in. Surely everybody with any intelligence grows out of childhood stories like ‘god’, Santa Clause and the tooth fairy?
