Hello,
I hope everyone is doing well. I have a question and would appreciate it if some of you would share your thoughts. So, I always read about the importance of analyzing the writing style of a particular New Testament letter to determine if Paul was likely the author. However, let’s say that Paul used a scribe to write his letters (as many say he did) how would the writing style give us any indication that Paul wrote it if someone else is writing? So if a letter differs in style from the rest, couldn’t another scribe have written it? I am confused and would like some clarity on the matter. Thank you.
