The truths of Julius Caesar unquestionable had authority.

The truths of Jesus with NO military credentials could not trump Caesar. The truths of Jesus were insufficient without historical authority, therefore there had to be an historical Jesus, even as Bart said, the nonexistence of Jesus came in the last 200 or 300 years.

Jesus is an historical proposition–a failed hypothesis in more than one way.

Scholars hold different opinions. There is no need to insult the ones who have airtight arguments.

Jesus is historical?
The insult is still sufficient because the biblical Jesus is still a false prophet
who misled people.
His renown or infamy among as you say, a large religion, number of followers, etc.
include conflicting gospels, crusades, inquisitions, and more.
You and your historians and scholars have THAT going for their gas.

Jesus as a true prophet and a defined messiah who led people rightly 
is more important than
Jesus as a false prophet who did not meet the qualifications of a defined messiah
and led people incorrectly/misled people.

To spend time getting a Master’s degree or a PhD studying

Who spent his time wisely the person who spent time on a true prophet or one on a false prophet?
Who is modeled, the true athlete or the false athlete?

Spend more time with Augustus than Caligula, PERIOD END OF DISCUSSION instead of wasting time with nonsense.

Steefen, you’ve already told us what you meant and what you should have said. But it was not what you said. You were not truthful when you falsely claimed that what you meant to say was what you said. You would have a much easier time ime here if you were simply truthful and able to admit when you make a mistake.

But everyone can plainly see what you said and how you were subsequently untruthful about that. It would be so much better for your credibility to simply be honest and admit a simple mistake in not saying what you meant to say. Failing that, no one can take you seriously.

Why did I go? I had a revelation to present to the leaders of the Jerusalem Church what I was teaching Gentiles.
I didn’t want to do something in vain. They would tell me.

What am I talking about? 
Penis. Greek Titus wasn’t circumcised.

James, Cephas, and John agreed with this. Remember the poor which I hadn’t forgotten.

But when Cephas came to Antioch, we had a disagreement. Cephas ate with the Gentiles until James’ people came to Antioch. Even Barnabas didn’t want to eat with the Gentiles. Well, the dining freedom should not be rejected.

When we go to the Gentiles, we don’t become sinners. Circumcision and dietary laws aren’t the whole story: that’s the meaning of Jesus Christ. Don’t be foolish.
