There is a double negative in the verses. The no:not is only included once in the English translation. A double negative can be canceled out. Rewrite the verses without the no:not. That is a more accurate translation.
Truly I tell you, this generation will pass away until all these things have happened.
The verses is talking about the “resurrection of the dead.” When the “things” happen that’s when the resurrection will occur.

“no not” is better translated as “lest not” or
They put diacritics above the ου but translate it as different words when it’s supposed to be a clue how to dramatically pronounce the word (no monotone language please; it’s very boring)

This word in the verse translated as “generation.”
The common word in both being γένος
ται is not a verb so it seems to me to be incorrect to base the translation off the root verb γίνομαι
Here’s a list of all the ways it’s translated in the NT. The way the Pauline letters use it becomes more than a verb.
It’s some kind of ethnic word that is neither distinctly a noun or verb. A racial crossbreed between Jew and Gentile. All the NT prophecy describes this new creation of humans.

The KJV Acts 20:16 omits the whole phrase: ὅπως μὴ γένηται αὐτῷ

Paul is sailing away before he mutates into a γενηται entity. Something terrifying happened shortly after raising Eutychus from the dead. Acts 20:12
KJV 20:16 needs the phrase “to come to pass”
so that it would not come to pass that he spent time in Asia because he wanted to be in Jerusalem for Pentecost
The phrase “to come to pass” γενηται is a metaphor for the Angel of Death. (The Angel passes over:Passover) The new Christian holiday is Pentecost. The Holy Spirit becomes the new good Angel compared to the Angel of Death.
There’s some kind of “Angel” involved committing possible sex crimes as the miracle medium. That’s why there’re on the run again. The angel is part of the γενηται. It’s how they’re created.
“would” is translated within the γενέσθαι
θα is “would”
Κεκρίκει γὰρ ὁ Παῦλος παραπλεῦσαι τὴν Ἔφεσον, ὅπως μὴ γένηται αὐτῷ χρονοτριβῆσαι ἐν τῇ Ἀσίᾳ· ἔσπευδεν γὰρ, εἰ δυνατὸν εἴη αὐτῷ, τὴν ἡμέραν τῆς Πεντηκοστῆς γενέσθαι εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα.
