The sale goes till Sept. 4. Interested? Know anyone else who might be? Go here and check it out: Armageddon | Barnes & Noble® (barnesandnoble.com)
What a bummer, they don’t ship to Poland. I wish I could get that! 🙁
I hope anyone who is able to take on that precious deal will do so!
Great Xmas gift idea.
Glad to read I could get your book cheap, but a cold shower is coming.
This price is only valid for Americans within the USA borders!!!
For us Croats, the “cover is more expensive than the content”, if at all, “Barnes & Noble” sends books outside the USA!?
And I would be happy with just one PDF copy only !! 🙂
By the way, thanks for the answer about “Saint Lorenzo”. Something doesn’t feel right to me!
He allegedly, I guess, kept Church, Christian money.
If I am not mistaken, at the time of Emperor Valerian (285 CE), the Church was “thickly” separated from the state.
He was succeeded by Diocletian and it was not until 306 CE that Constantine the Great appeared who legalized Christianity.
Was the Christian Church already rich then (285 CE), maybe not like this one today, but still!!??
Did they publicly announce their wealth so that the greedy State wanted that treasure for itself??
It is illogical to me that Lorenzo offers poor people to the State (to whom he distributed Church money) as “State treasure”, because it is logical to me that the poor were “Church treasure”. (Matthew, V, VI, VII and VIII) ???
About the book, send me a private email.
Constantine legalized xty in 313 in the Edict of Milan, with his fellow emperor in the East Licinius (who was a pagan).
Yes, the church of Rome had considerable resources by this time.
It is a good deal for those living in the USA. For example, for those like me in Europe, the shipping costs are Higher than the book price. I have a few you wrote, but always have to buy them in Amazon, shipping costs less, and sometimes they have promotions as well. It would be nice have this promotion there too.
Yeah, it’s a big problem. The only solution seems to be when overseas publishers have translations produced….
Hopefully I get to the book before Armageddon! Ahahaha
