Excellent.  I’m looking forward to seeing this and maybe dusting off (figuratively – it’s an e-book) a book of Kaku’s I got a while back but don’t think I even started.

By the way, that deGrasse Tyson video was a great watch – smart, entertaining people, able to communicate clearly without taking themselves too seriously and sticking to the science.

And you wonder why I, an argumentation specialist, do not respond.

Loeb’s academic research is focused on astrophysics and cosmology, including the first stars, black holes, and the search for extraterrestrial life and technological signatures (via the Galileo Project).

Kaku’s primary area of theoretical research is string theory and the pursuit of a “Theory of Everything”.

Why don’t you go find another top astrophysicist from another US ivy league university. While you at it, add China and England.

In the world, what university has the best professors and facilities for astrophysics?

The universities consistently ranked at the top for astrophysics with leading professors and facilities are the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Harvard University, and the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). These institutions are recognized for their strong research output, influential faculty, and access to cutting-edge observational facilities and programs like the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO).

Anti-tail

10 Anomalies that make one ask the question: Is this technological in origin?

Oh, no, we’re not going to ask/consider that. There are at least six ways this is unlike anything that fits our understanding Do you think we are scientists? We know a whole lot and we’re just going to wait in our normalcy world until we can smugly say: see, nothing to see here.

Robert’s Video

Question: Is NASA hiding something here.

Michio Kaku: Sounds like it.

Where is the Conspiracty Theory claim here ? ? ?

The Robert Michio Kaku Video is poor because Michio Kaku has to say to Avi Loeb: you have to quantify the probabilities.

Steefen:

As IF Loeb hasn’t done that: 4 out of 10 !

Steefen:
Where is Kaku’s explanation of the anti-tail and when 3I/ATLAS has no tail?

Robert:
How many professors of astrophysics at these institutions agree with Avi? Rather than critique Michio Kaku, why not address the fact that Avi has not convinced many, if any, of his peers?

Steefen:
If they disagreed with Avi, they would say it.
You and others disagree with Avi, some of the YouTube videos, and me.
Share your explanatory counter arguments that you all have posted as comments to the YouTube content creators and I’ll be on the watch.

Steefen, the burden of justification for a claim belongs to the one making the claim. ATLAS 3I is an alien spacecraft! Prove me wrong! is not how it works.

Truthfully we are still at the data gathering stage. Why not suspend judgement until we’ve gleaned all the info possible? Then try to draw conclusions?

What makes me suspicious of conspiracy theories is that if others don’t come up with their conclusions then inevitably the rejoinder is that someone must be hiding something.

As Freud should have said, but didn’t – Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

I’d love for Steefen to email his questions to Darryl, and when he has responses, share them with us.

Of course, what is more likely to happen is for him to shift topics, which seems to be his usual tactic.

Robert
Recall the video I posted above of Darryl Seligman being interviewed by Neil deGrasse Tyson?

Steefen
You didn’t put the comment #. I searched a few pages but didn’t find it.

I’ll watch this video. This video is probably being duplicated for format for 3I/ATLAS, which would be helpful. This hasn’t happened yet at YouTube Channel, StarTalk.

YouTube Channel Star Talk, Video: Is it a comet or alien technology? 2 months ago, 3.7M views
3I/Atlas. This is too old, given what has been discovered in the last 1 month alone.

YouTube Channel Star Talk, Video: Answering Questions about Virtual Particles, Moon Bases & Negative Gravity
The Wow Signal.

YouTube Channel StarTalk, Video: Astrophysicists Discuss Our First Encounters with Interstellar Objects
starts with an intro of Darryl Deligman
Maybe this is the video Robert posted.
Even if it’s not. It looks interesting.

Then I have to check videos in Comments 207, 209, and 210.

God created at least a million galaxies in the universe.

God created more than a million stars (solar systems) in the Milky Way galaxies.

God created a hierarchy of angels.

God created civilizations of Ancient Sumer, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Macedonia, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome but no other planets surrounding any of the millions of stars in the Milky Way, in the universe have advanced civilizations whose “people” would be aliens/extraterrestrials ? ? ? A simple Yes or No.

My answer: Yes.

Steefen, the universe contains trillions of galaxies and our galaxy contains billions of stars.  It does us good to take a minute now and then to ponder our inconceivable universe.  The cosmos may be filled with aliens but it’s size and age provides an unbridgeable gulf between us and them.  Certainly it renders ludicrous the idea that aliens have nothing better to do than cross the interstellar void to interfere in our parochial politics.  On a functional level we are alone.

Regularly visiting our planet …

Steefen
Civilizations co-exist, cooperate, affect each other wittingly or unwittingly, consciousness being a quantum phenomenon…

= = = =

Aliens have nothing better to do

Steefen
if we do something on Earth like through quantum phenomenon, sending probes into interstellar space, advance to a certain milestone, do something dangerous to interstellar space, they better come and do something about it.

Stephen

on a functional level we are alone.

Steefen

I disagree, on a functional level we can mess up things for other civilizations

Second, some in the military (air force) say aliens have stopped nuclear weapons BECAUSE they are dangerous for other civilizations
