I too had been wondering about the idea of how the Passover lamb became a “sin” offering. In fact, I was thinking about making a senior honor theses on this topic.
(Just when I think I came up with a new question to research, I join here and am reminded that much of what I think on these topics has been thought before. *sigh*)
Any other suggestions (besides what you have already posted) regarding a honors theses? One problem I have is deciding what are the best sources to use and actually starting the process…
Ah, I have lots of ideas. But they would be for *me* if *I* were doing it. A good part of the fun is figuring out what you yourself really want to do. Knowing what you want is a big part of being a young scholar. And, well, of life! So figure out what you really are interested in, and pursue it.
Actually that would be two problems I have. Deciding what are the best sources to use, actually starting the process, and trying to coherently gather my thoughts. Yes, first decide what you’re really interested in; then do some reading to see what others have been saying about it; and then figure out what your views really are; and go from there. Your advisor will… advise you!
