Actually, I’m not at all easily impressed.

Robert I think you misconstrue the tenor of my remark. I was responding to Steefen’s comment about my lack of intelligence. I meant you are easily impressed if you think I’m intelligent. Am I not allowed a modicum of humility – even if it’s false? I think my strengths and weaknesses are obvious. While I do read exhaustively in the subjects that interest me, the multiplicity of my interests simply precludes specialization. (My father was a reader but all he read were “Westerns”, Zane Grey and such. I can’t imagine such a thing.) True expertise requires a degree of monomania. I lack such but profit from the work of those who do. While I cannot produce such scholarship myself I can certainly read it with understanding.

Actually I cannot recall you ever commenting on my intelligence. Being well-read, sure. People often confuse the two.

The Igigi revolted against Anu, Enlil, and Enki.
To get a workforce replacing the Igigi, homo sapiens sapiens were created by bioegineering, the effects are still evidenced in our chromosomes.

Steefen this is make believe. Pretend. Mythology. Anu, Enlil, and Enki are old friends. They certainly exist, but in the imagination. Homo Sapiens Sapiens is the product of a long natural evolution, much of which has gradually become understood. We have at least 20 hominin relatives, all extinct. These include Neanderthals, Denisovans, Homo erectus, Homo floresiensis (the “hobbit”), Homo naledi, and Homo heidelbergensis. No aliens needed.

…if you haven’t seen it…

Yeah Steefen seems to think I’ve never heard of any of these goofballs.

Gregg Braden isn’t the only one who brings truth to Atrahais: Lloyd Pye wrote a book

Stephen and BJH1960 have some “splaining” to do.

And while you are at it tell us again who you two are more credible than the U.S. government on this and what briefings you two have had.

…more credible than the U.S. government…

Wait a minute Mr Conspiracy Theory. The government is all of sudden credible on UFOs?!? So…let me get this straight. When the govt denies your claims they’re evil conspirators suppressing the truth, but when they agree with your claims they become credible witnesses. Is that right?

…what briefings you two have had.

Well I can’t speak for BJH1960’s section but at my last Illuminati weenie roast we received a nice update from the group in charge of faking Crop Circles. The project seems to very successful.

Steefen here’s another video from that same interviewer, Robinson Erhardt, except this time with astronomer David Kipping. Still admittedly speculative this is nevertheless a much more scientifically based view of the encounter with alien intelligences.

I think my logic still stands. You simply cannot extrapolate from a single example. We have learned a lot about how we exist but have little knowledge about how others might exist. It appears that the same laws of physics apply elsewhere but that only gets us so far. All this speculation winds up being a projection of our own concerns onto the universe.

Opinions are easy on a subject where no expertise exists but here’s my two cents worth. I think there is probably other life elsewhere and probably even sentient life elsewhere but we have to take seriously the size and age of the Universe. If it exists now it is likely too far away for us to contact. If it existed in the past then it is lost to us in time. Either way, on a purely functional, pragmatic level, we are alone.

No one will save us. We have to save ourselves. Or not.

Scientist just brought back an asteroid sample which contained all 5 amino acids that make up DNA.
Also photoed a mars object that is reminiscent of coral.

Steefen:
Can alien life come to us? Contact us?

Does this second video discuss Lloyd Pye and Gregg BRaden and the chromosome issue?

What? You’re going to agree Atrahasis exists came before Genesis but nothing about Atrahasis materialized in Sumer? It’s ALL fiction?

There is nothing in this 3-hour video about the bio-engineering of Homo sapiens sapiens in Atrahasis.

There is nothing in this 3-hour video about the bio-engineering of Homo sapiens sapiens in Atrahasis.

That’s because there’s nothing about “bio-engineering” in Atra-hasis.

Atra-hasis is an 18th-century BCE Akkadian epic that describes the myth of the creation of mankind by Enlil, Anu and Enki. “Myth”, not science. The ancients who produced this epic knew nothing about genetics or evolution. The Anunnaki are not aliens. They are only mentioned in literary texts and no evidence of any temple cult devoted to them as a group has been found. No representation of them as a complete group has ever been found. At most what you see are images of Enlil, Anu and Enki together. Although certain deities are always described as being members of the Anunnaki, no complete list of the names of all the Anunnaki has ever been found. In Sumerian sources they are numbered as few as seven and as many as fifty.

It’s a wonderfully evocative mythology. In Sumerian religion, the Anunnaki were the children of An and Ki, the sky and the earth. In Akkadian literature they lived in the underworld. In Babylonia a group of divinities called the Igigi appear. The relationship between the the Igigi and the Anunnaki is obscure. Sometimes they are even identified as the same group. In Atra-Hasis, the Igigi are the slaves of the Anunnaki. Humans are originally created by Enki to replace the Igigi as slaves of the gods after the Igigi rebel.

In the Epic of Gilgamesh the Anunnaki are described as judges in the underworld. The Igigi live in Heaven. In the Enûma Elish the god Marduk creates the Anunnaki. There are 300 in heaven and 600 in the underworld. In Hurrian and Hittite texts they are always eight in number. The Anunnaki are described as the “old” gods who were banished to the underworld. Hittite mythology is very beautiful. The old gods were often invoked in ritual but there doesn’t appear to have been a cult devoted exclusively to them.

It’s all s-t-o-r-i-e-s. The dreams of humankind. It has nothing to do with science, much less UFOs or extraterrestrial life.

You still haven’t accounted for the bio-engineering even if you reject the accurate claim of Atrahasis.
The bio-engineering is still there with or without Atrahasis account.
Lloyd Pye, Gregg Bradenm and others have the facts whereas you, without acknowledging the facts, have no explanatory power.

You’re right Steefen. I let myself place 175 years of textual translations and archaeology over a bunch of YouTube videos. Sorry! What was I thinking?

Yes it turns out that the building blocks of life seem rather common in the universe. This gives us hope that somewhere else might be biologically active. But you can’t automatically go from that to advanced civilizations. The Rare Earth hypothesis is based on the idea that each level of complexity will also be correspondingly less common. In other words, lots of bacteria, few sentient civilizations.

You’re incorrect.
The facts of chromosomes make it pointless to discuss this matter with anyone in order to dissuade them.
He does not know enough about this topic to persuade anyone to his position.
I’m glad he is surrendering or whatever you want to call it.

Since I was the one who mentioned the amino acids found on and brought back to earth from a single asteroid, my first thought was that this was good evidence for possible life elsewhere. Upon reflection, it is only a single point that needs further study and development. It reminds me of the experiment done in the 1950s?
Where a mixture of chemicals was put in a flask, subjected to heat and simulated lightening. It too produced some amino acids, everyone jumped on the idea that we had to be just a few short steps from understanding and creating life.
In the end the fellow who performed the experiment became a spokesman for creationism.

James fox never disappoints
If you follow the topic it’s nothing new, but still interesting. It’s documentaries like these that will captivate casual believers and keep them up to date with what’s been happening. The fact that congress and the media are finally taking this seriously is something I never thought I would see in my lifetime.

I don’t usually leave reviews but we can’t let this get buried by the disinformation campaigns and “skeptics”. Supporting people like James Fox is crucial to disclosure.

At this point you’re either willfully ignorant or a part of the problem,
At this point you’re either willfully ignorant or a part of the problem, it’s time to get on the right side of history.

He’s nailed it again!
I’ve been waiting for this release for so long, finally watched it this evening. James is determined to get to the truth, and he delivers his research in such a brilliant, compelling way.

Absolutely highly recommend this movie, and indeed any of James’ others, whether you’re new to this idea or not.

He finds the most credible witnesses and mindblowing cases – I’m gripped from beginning to end.

Like most, I was once highly skeptical that extra terrestrial visited Earth, but I feel we are on a journey here, helped along by the likes of James Fox who is committed to raising awareness of what will be the most important revelation to mankind.

Disclosure by proxy
I’m going to keep this simple…we ARE NOT ALONE, WE HAVE NEVER BEEN ALONE! Those of a belief in God know that He is the creator of multiple universes, and uncalculable varieties of life forms and varying intelligences throughout the cosmos. Why? Because He’s God. It is uninformed, uninspired, self-centered and egoistic thinking that bouys a belief that we are the best God could do. We are zygotes, a blink of the eye to the negative quadrillionth power in the universal timeline thus far. How do you profess the belief that God is who He says He is, “I am that I am”, yet limit Him on the possibility of Him having created different life forms more advanced than us? “They” are just another representation of His omnipotence; a different form of life that He has ALSO bequeathed with free will. And just like us, because of the free will He gives us ALL, some do right, and others commit evil.

Are there more 10/10 ratings? Yes.
Are there less than 10/10 ratings? Yes.
Do the less than 10/10 ratings persuasively argue against what is most convincing about the documentary?
