I earlier mentioned that in June I’m doing a cruise with Thalassa Journeys that will go up the coast of Norway to Svalbard (think: Polar Bears!).  This is going to be a terrific adventure; gorgeous landscapes, picturesque villages; intriguing wildlife; and scintillating fellow-travelers all on a fantastic ship that I’ve been on and can certainly vouch for.  I’ll be giving lectures on “Who Chose the Gospels,” based on research I’m currently doing for my next book.  Come along and you’ll be the first to hear!  (When I’m not lecturing, I’ll be hanging out with my fellow travelers, sharing ideas and thinking deep thoughts!)

Below is the brochure.  (You can scroll through it with the sidebar on the right.)  There is limited space available so you if you’re inclined — go for it.

To that end, Thalassa Journeys has provided an EARLY BIRD  SPECIAL.  Anyone who signs up by December 15, 2025 will receive a $300 discount on the trip.  AND for everyone who takes advantage of the Early Bird pricing, I will provide a free webinar, early in 2026 — just me and the early birds!

Here now is the brochure:

Not able to scroll the brochure. Only the cover page is available. Also the email link for the tour company doesn’t work either.
I’m very interested in this trip … and maybe wild polar bears!

Go to the far right of the brochure and you can see a scroll tab there to take you down it.

I am sorry. I am in the same situation. Whatever I do I can see only the cover page.

Very interested in this cruise, but I’m a solo female traveler, and it’s pretty pricey for a single – any way to connect with a potential cabinmate?

Don’t know: call the Thalassa Journeys and see!

I waitlisted this trip on Dec. 12 – have you already done the “early bird” webinar?
If not – Thalassa has now come through with a solo cabin at the “D” level, so I’ve booked this; does that qualify me?
Anyone else want to do some birding on this tour?

Great! I haven’t done the webinar yet and yes yu are more than qualified! Thalassa will notify you when it is set up. And my wife Sarah is a VERY interested birder!!

That’s great! I look forward to meeting Sarah.
I’m expecting plenty of sea birds from the ship. But I’m hoping to get into some forest as well. Sarah will have seen them, of course, but a lot of European birds will be new or at least relatively new to me. I have 2 days in Copenhagen after the cruise; depending on what we’ve seen, I may try to arrange a day’s birding there. Thanks for the reading list Thalassa passed along today – that will be helpful!
